  • CHPD announces arrest of most-wanted suspect; bail set at over $500k

    Sentinel staff report–
    Citrus Heights police on Tuesday afternoon announced the arrest of a 43-year-old suspect who had been on the department’s most wanted list since August.

    In a statement issued around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said special investigations unit detectives had arrested the suspect, Timothy Sherman King, at his residence in Yuba County. Detectives had previously served a narcotics search warrant in May at King’s residence in Citrus Heights, which later earned him a place on the police department’s most wanted list in August.

    King also appeared on subsequent most wanted lists for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm.

    Sacramento County online inmate records indicate King was booked into jail just before 4 p.m. Tuesday and is charged with a pair of felonies related to firearms and ammunition possession while being a felon. He is also charged with a drug-related misdemeanor. His total bail is currently set at $510,500.

    Police said community members are thanked for their assistance in providing tips to help locate King.

    Citrus Heights police have published a newly updated list of eight most-wanted suspects the department is seeking to apprehend for outstanding warrants. Individuals pictured on the list range in age from 29 to 48 years old and are wanted for a variety of offenses, including domestic violence, identity theft and firearms-related charges.

    The list includes six new suspects, in addition to Timothy King and Jennifer Noriega, who previously appeared in a most-wanted list released last month. King is wanted on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and Noriega is wanted on suspicion of identity theft and vehicle theft.

    Police have been releasing most wanted lists since August of this year, swapping in new faces as arrests are made, warrants are cleared up, or more high-priority suspects are added. Sgt. Jason Baldwin told The Sentinel last month that the department’s most-wanted lists are “working out very well,” with community members providing information about several suspects.

    The full list of suspects on the latest most-wanted list are published below. Those with information about any of the suspects listed are encouraged to contact the police non-emergency number at (916) 727-5500, or the department’s anonymous tip line at (916) 727-5524.

    Jennifer Anne Noriega, 33: wanted on suspicion of identity theft and vehicle theft.

    Jude Matthew Rowland, 41: wanted for alleged probation violation.

    Paulo Gutierrez-Bautista, 29: wanted on domestic violence-related charges.

    Frederick Evans, Jr., 43: wanted on domestic violence-related charges.

    Christina Suzanne Clark, 48: wanted for alleged possession of narcotics.

    Cameron Allan Jetton, 34: wanted for alleged probation violation and multiple counts of fraud.

    Victor Hermando Castro, Jr., 35: wanted on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

    On Thursday, Citrus Heights police released photos of eight most-wanted suspects the department is actively seeking to apprehend for outstanding warrants.

    A photo, age, and short description of the alleged crimes involved for each individual was released and shared on the Citrus Heights Police Department’s social media pages Thursday evening. The list includes the following eight suspects:

    Timothy Sherman King, 42: wanted for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm.

    Jose Luis Rodriguez, 23: wanted for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.

    Jessica James Mercado, 29: wanted for alleged assault and theft.

    Zain Ahmadzai, 35: wanted for alleged domestic violence.

    Roland Julien Bocquel, 27: wanted for alleged drug sales.

    Brian Reed Phillips, 40: wanted for alleged domestic violence.

    Christopher Jeffrey Shaw, 37: wanted for alleged violation of probation.

    Gerald Tyrone Sims, 29: wanted for alleged illegal possession of a firearm in a vehicle and evading police.
