    2021 Recall Election: 3 locations to securely drop off your ballot in Citrus Heights

    Sentinel staff report–
    Beginning Monday, Aug. 16, voters in Citrus Heights will be able to drop their ballots off at three secure locations in Citrus Heights. In-person voting will also be an option at City Hall, beginning Sept. 4.

    According to the county’s election website and sample ballot booklet sent out to voters earlier this month, voters can drop their ballots off at the following locations:

    Open Election Day until 8 p.m.

    Raley’s

    6 a.m. – 11 p.m., 7-days-a-week
    Open Election Day 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.

    Sylvan Oaks Library
    6700 Auburn Blvd.
    Citrus Heights, CA 95621
    Tues.-Sat. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    Open Election Day 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

    The vote center for in-person voting at City Hall will be open Sept. 4-13, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Election Day, the center will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

    Two questions will appear on this year’s ballot: the first asking whether voters should remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office, and the second asking who should replace Newsom if he is removed.
