    2:53 a.m., Disturbance loitering, Walgreens at Greenback/Dewey. A man who had been caught using drugs in the Walgreens bathroom the previous week was reported loitering again near the store. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    12:45 p.m., Fraud/forgery, Brayton Avenue. A sibling reported that their sister had used their 71-year-old mother’s identity to purchase phones and accessories with a value of $2,500. Disposition listed: civil problem.

    7:26 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, Kohl’s on San Juan Avenue. A grab-and-run was attempted in the Kohl’s on San Juan Avenue. Two men were witnessed “stuffing merchandise into a Nike duffle bag,” while another stood by an emergency exit. Disposition listed: assisted.

    2:42 a.m., Suspicious Vehicle, Peppertree Way. An occupied tan SUV had been parking on Peppertree Way near Zenith Drive for about a week. A pitbull was also reportedly inside the vehicle and someone was most likely sleeping inside. Disposition listed: advised.

    8:35 a.m., Burglary, Calesa Court. A burglary reportedly occurred over the night, leaving a house near Sylvan Cemetery ransacked. The total value of items stolen was not listed, but a computer and checkbooks were stolen as well as firearms and ammunition. Disposition listed: report taken.

    2:25 p.m., Panhandling, R U Tan on Tupelo Drive. A man and two elementary school-aged children were reported in the vicinity of R U Tan, standing between Taco Bell and Popeyes on Tupelo Drive. They were holding signs asking for money. Disposition listed: “gone on arrival.”

    2:43 p.m., Burglary, Denton Way. A neighbor reportedly broke the fence boards around someone’s house and used extension cords to steal their power. The neighbor also broke one of the windows, apparently entering the house and leaving cigarette butts in the sink. Disposition listed: advised.

The woman told police she “almost died,” and said that her husband told her that it would be “easy to kill her.” The husband was no longer around at the time of the report.     1:16 p.m., Disturbance loitering, Family Friends Vet Hospital on Auburn Boulevard. A 40-year-old homeless woman was reportedly “yelling at a tree” on the side of the Family Friends Vet Hospital. She was also smoking a pipe and had been in the area for at least half an hour. Disposition listed: advised.

    1:26 p.m., Grand theft, Old Auburn Road. Firearms were reportedly taken from a safe inside a home on Old Auburn Road. A hole was cut in the side of the safe, but no suspect info was available. Disposition listed: report taken.

    9:07 a.m., Verbal disturbance, Citrus Heights Smog and Car Wash on Auburn Blvd. A shirtless man in front of the car wash appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. He was reportedly throwing beer cans into the street, and seemed to be “looking for a fight.” He was agitated and began yelling that he was “going to beat people up.” Disposition listed: arrest.

    9:32 a.m., Verbal disturbance, Shell at Auburn/Greenback. A man entered a Shell gas station and dropped 50 cents on the counter, then attempted to leave with a beer. When told that he had not payed enough money, the man reportedly replied “Well, I guess I’m stealing it”, and walked out. He began to cuss at people, and was last seen heading towards McDonald’s. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    12:13 p.m., Verbal disturbance, McDonalds at the crossing of Antelope on Lichen Drive. A man approached a woman’s car and randomly started yelling at her, reportedly saying that he “could go off on her, but today he’s being a nice guy.” The woman thought he was under the influence. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    8:10 p.m., Grand theft, Walgreens at Greenback/Sunrise. About $1,000 of cosmetics was reported stolen from Walgreens. The incident was caught on video and had occurred the prior day. Disposition listed: report taken.

    1:57 a.m., Verbal disturbance, Cripple Creek Condominiums on Lauppe Lane. A commotion was caused at the Cripple Creek Condos when a man was heard yelling threats from inside a room. He was reportedly accompanied by two or three other people. The caller asked the police to send an officer, but was uncooperative and evasive with information, saying that if the police arrived they would be able to hear the threats themselves.     4:51 p.m., Vandalism, Antelope Creek Apartments on Antelope Road. A car had been vandalized overnight, with all four tires slashed. The car had also been egged, and was reportedly covered in bologna. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    6:14 p.m., Vandalism, Crosswood Park Apartments on San Tomas Drive. A neighbor witnessed a man trying to get into a door at the Crosswood Park Apartments with an unknown object, damaging the lock. When the neighbor confronted the man, he claimed to be with the apartment complex. The complex, however, confirmed that they didn’t have any workers of that description. The caller thought the suspect could be an ex-boyfriend with a no-contact restraining order for prior stalking. Disposition listed: cancelled.

    11:34 p.m., Driving under the influence, Loree’s Little Shack on Greenback. A bartender reported that a woman in her 50s had just left the bar with her mother, heading towards Van Maren. She had consumed over $100 worth of liquor before driving away. Disposition listed: advised.

    7:29 p.m., Disturbance loitering, Walmart on Auburn Boulevard. A man and his son were reportedly “selling fish out of the trunk of [their] car” in the Walmart parking lot. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    7:36 p.m., Assault, Kohls on San Juan Avenue. An elderly man walking between the Kohls store and Del Taco was observed bleeding from his head. He was very disoriented, reportedly saying that he didn’t know what had happened to him. He was injured, with a laceration over his right eye and a bloody nose. Disposition listed: advised.

    8:16 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Paradise Oaks on Olivine Avenue. Two women at Paradise Oaks Youth Services were reportedly breaking glass and “throwing tables over.” Disposition listed: arrest.

    10:39 a.m., Petty theft, Dollar General on Auburn Boulevard. A man who was supposedly shopping at Dollar General on Auburn Boulevard ran from the store with diapers that he never paid for. Disposition listed: advised.

    3:55 p.m., Verbal Disturbance, Greenback Lane/Sunrise Boulevard. A road rage incident occurred between a man and a woman near Greenback Lane and Sunrise Boulevard. The man, who was reportedly following the woman, got out of his car and ran in front of the woman’s vehicle, yelling and cursing her. He then got back into his car and was “brake checking” her.     4:46 p.m., Petty theft, Verner Avenue. A grave was robbed of its flowers in the cemetery on Verner Avenue, possibly by a woman in her mid-thirties or forties who was driving a gray Volvo. He was described as a 25-year-old in a black t-shirt and jeans, with a female companion in her thirties. Disposition listed: cancelled.

    8:00 a.m., Homeless Camp, Oaks At Stock Ranch on Sylvan Road. Transients were reportedly setting off fireworks at a homeless camp located near a creek and walking trail in the Stock Ranch area. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    10:32 a.m., Disturbance Verbal, Sayonara Drive. A husband and wife got into a heated dispute with their neighbors on Sayonara Drive after the neighbor’s dog tried to attack their cat. The neighbor reportedly “threatened to shoot” the cat owner’s husband and said “he would let his dog loose on them.” No weapons were visible. Disposition listed: advised.

    10:49 a.m., Burglary, Halifax Street. A homeowner reported their residence had been broken into for the “third day in a row.” At the time of report, multiple doors of the residence were open and it was unknown if the thieves were still inside. Disposition listed: report taken.

    12:15 p.m., Verbal Disturbance, Longford Drive. Six non-residents were reported swimming in a pool on Longford Drive, near Greenback Lane.     1:36 p.m., Assault, Saint Philomena Way. A female ex-roommate reportedly assaulted a man as he was trying to leave a house on Philomena Way.     4:26 p.m., Reckless Driving, Antelope/Auburn. A motorcyclist riding in the bike lane was attempting to kick other cars as they passed.
