    9:32 a.m., Suspicious circumstances, Habit Burger on Sunrise Blvd. A small, green, propane canister with a nozzle attached was seen on the side of Habit Burger with a lighter next to it. No one was present at the time, and its purpose was unknown. Disposition listed: “gone on arrival.”

    2:25 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, Brook Dale Drive. An ongoing problem with a resident on Brook Dale Drive was reported to police by a neighbor. The resident reportedly had been involved in drug transactions and was suspected of running a “chop shop.” At the time of the report, two cars could be seen parked in front of the house, both without license plates. Disposition listed: advised.

    3:59 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, Rusch Park. A man was reportedly seen behind the park’s community center restrooms, “making propositions to young boys,” although the caller “couldn’t elaborate further on what the male [was] saying to them.” The man in question reportedly had prior run-ins with police, according to the caller.     4:46 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Checkerbloom Way. An argument erupted between a woman and her neighbor on Checkerbloom Way, near Fair Oaks Boulevard. The neighbor then threw a “wooden moose” decoration from her porch at the caller’s house and went back inside her home.     6:11 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, El Dorado Savings Bank on Lichen Dr. Police were notified of possible prostitution activity in front of El Dorado Savings Bank. The activity involved a woman in her 20s who was wearing a black jacket and multi-colored tights, with a man circling her in a vehicle who was “possibly her pimp.” Disposition listed: advised.

    6:56 p.m., Driving under the influence, Sunrise/Greenback. A caller reported seeing a woman purchase alcohol at BevMo, drink it in the parking lot, and then drive off. A description of the vehicle was provided. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    7:10 a.m., Burglary, Huntington Square Apartments on Huntington Square Ln. A storage unit was reportedly broken into the previous night, resulting in a sewing machine and several other items being stolen. Disposition listed: advised.

    1:58 p.m., Assault, San Juan High School. A skirmish broke out at San Juan High School when a woman allegedly threw a water bottle at a referee. “Pushing and shoving in the stands” was also reported. Disposition listed: checks ok.

    2:57 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Stones Casino. A “hostile guest” was forced to leave Stones Casino after allegedly making “vague physical threats” to another person. The guest then got into a vehicle and began circling the parking lot, apparently without the intention of leaving the area.     Latest police logs in Citrus Heights include a 6-foot-tall windmill reportedly being stolen from a front yard, unfounded claims of a bike robbery outside a convenience store, trouble with an ex-boyfriend, and an argument between two roommates resulting in an attempted stabbing.

    12:33 p.m., Fraud/forgery, Mariposa Avenue. A stolen iPad was purchased from Craigslist and the rightful owner began to make threats. Disposition listed: assisted.

    7:00 p.m., Assault with a weapon, Great Clips on Antelope Rd. Police were advised by a caller of a possible robbery that occurred at Great Clips, involving someone who stole a bike. The victim reportedly chased the suspect with a “large stick” and one person “was yelling he’s been stabbed,” although no knife was seen. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    8:36 a.m., Verbal disturbance, Sunrise Commons Apartments on Sunrise Blvd. A woman who was in the process of obtaining a restraining order on her ex-boyfriend told police she had received 75 messages from him the prior day. He then came to her apartment and knocked on her windows, at some point telling her he had been drinking. At the time of the report he was on foot somewhere in the apartment complex.     2:15 p.m., Disturbance loitering, Burlington Coat Factory on San Juan Ave. A transient has reportedly been camping at a receiving dock behind the Burlington Coat Factory. He was described as likely under the influence, as he was “laughing at himself in his sleeping bag.” Disposition listed: assisted.

    4:27 p.m., Suspicious vehicle, Mandarin Circle. A neighbor reported suspicious ongoing foot traffic near a car on Mandarin Circle, near C-Bar-C Park. People near the car could be seen smoking marijuana, and “some sort of drug substance” could be smelled in the air. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    5:57 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Pacheco Way. A loud fight between a man and woman was reportedly witnessed by a bystander on Pacheco Way, near Highland Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard.     8:23 p.m., Robbery, K’s Quik Mart on Auburn Blvd. A blonde woman in her 20s reportedly pushed a bike-rider into a creek and stole their black BMX bike. Disposition listed: unfounded.

    12:07 a.m., Suspicious vehicle, Ranch House Way. Several people were reportedly “trying door handles,” while walking down Ranch House Way towards Van Maren Lane. They drove a white GMC Denali with an advertisement magnet on the side. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    1:19 p.m., Petty theft, Pratt Avenue. A six-foot-tall windmill was taken from the front yard of a homeowner on Pratt Avenue. The green and yellow windmill was of sentimental value to the owner, who had owned it for 50 years. No suspect information was known. Disposition listed: advised.

    7:38 p.m., Assault with a weapon, Sloop Ct. An argument between roommates on Sloop Court, in the northwestern outskirts of the city, led to an arrest when one of them allegedly grabbed a knife and attempted to stab the other. Disposition listed: arrest.

    9:20 p.m. Suspicious circumstances, Elephant Bar at Sunrise Mall. A woman in her mid-30s caused suspicion when she claimed that she had locked her keys in her car and began looking into the windows of other cars. She also tried to push the vehicle and was treating it “roughly,” apparently trying to trigger the alarm. Disposition listed: assisted.

    12:32 p.m., Robbery, Parkvale Way. A man who picked up a $5 bill he found on the street was subsequently assaulted by another man who reached into his vehicle and started punching him. The assailant also threatened to take the victim’s car. Disposition listed: report taken.

    5:31 p.m., Arson, Brookhaven Way. A neighbor reportedly set another resident’s lawn on fire the previous morning. The grass was damaged, but the fire went out on its own. Disposition listed: report taken.

    9:34 p.m., Disturbance loitering, Nation’s Giant Hamburgers on Sunrise Blvd. Two younger homeless men were reportedly seen jumping over a fence and into a nearby construction zone.     11:34 a.m., Grand theft, Rite Aid at Sunrise/Arcadia. A theft of merchandise valued over $1,000 was reported at Rite Aid. The incident allegedly occurred the previous day and was captured on video. Disposition listed: report taken.

    10:41 p.m., Noise Disturbance, Adobe Casa Ct. A resident on Adobe Casa Court, off Sperry Drive, reported that a neighbor was “playing mariachi music.” The music had reportedly been playing for several past nights as well. Disposition listed: advised.

    3:21 p.m., Verbal disturbance, San Juan High School on Greenback Ln. A man in his mid-40s who was “wearing a sign against same-sex marriage” reportedly began arguing with some students outside San Juan High School and was “asking kids about their sexuality.” Disposition listed: checks ok.

    7:09 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Edgewater Apartments on Sunrise Vista Drive. An area check was requested for three men who jumped into the pool at Edgewater Apartments and allegedly threatened a child.     6:59 a.m., Burglary, Molina Health Care on Sunrise Blvd. An unknown individual broke into Molina Health Care with a key and reportedly stole $700 in bathroom accessories. Disposition listed: report taken.

    4:35 p.m., Indecent exposure, Longford Dr. A woman reported that her neighbor was standing in his doorway naked, advising police that over the past six months he had been “flashing her, following her, throwing things at her, and threatening to kill her if she [walked] on his walkway.” She said two other neighbors with her were also reporting the issue.     3:33 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, WIC Office on Greenback Ln. A caller reported that a woman was surrounded by several men on bicycles and was yelling for help outside the WIC office on Greenback Lane. She was seen kicking at one of the men and the caller believed it was possible “she may have taken one of the males’ bikes.” Disposition listed: unable to locate.

    5:00 p.m., Verbal Disturbance, Wooddale Way. A woman’s roommate allegedly kicked in her door and tried to attack her. The incident was reported as an “ongoing issue since last night.” Disposition listed: advised.

    12:57 a.m., Assault at 7-eleven on Mariposa/Greenback. A woman said she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend who had dragged her by the hair and allegedly took her phone. He then pulled her hair and “busted out the car window,” before running across the street on Mariposa Avenue towards the Meadows Apartments. Disposition listed: assisted.

    8:35 a.m., Criminal threats report at Renaissance Apartments on Greenback Ln. A woman told police a man had walked up to her while she was in the parking lot and said “if he saw her again he was going to kill her.” The woman said she did not know the man, but believed the man had mistaken her for another woman that lives above him in the apartments. She said she was concerned for the safety of the other woman and provided a description of the man involved. Disposition listed: advised.

    2:02 p.m., Shoplifting at Sears store in Sunrise Mall. A woman was detained inside the store for shoplifting. She was described as cooperative. Disposition listed: arrest.

    6:16 p.m., Robbery at Antelope/Saybrook. A bicyclist approached and punched a caller who was driving, taking a “bank bag” with $600 in it. A suspect description was given. Disposition listed: unable to locate.

    10:54 p.m., Petty theft at Safeway on Greenback Ln. A man reportedly walked out the back door of Safeway with about $100 in alcohol. The suspect was described as having an “afro wig and a large machete knife” hanging from his belt. He also had left behind his hat at the store. Disposition listed: Assisted.

    10:06 a.m., Suspicious circumstances, Jack in the Box at Auburn/Greenback. A homeless man was reportedly in the bathroom of Jack in the Box with a bat. He had been hitting a cart and garbage can with the bat earlier. Disposition listed: arrest.

    3:15 p.m., Disturbance Loitering, McDonald’s at Antelope/Lichen. An employee at McDonald’s reportedly approached a group of transients and asked them to leave. During that time, the transient’s pit bull allegedly bit the employee, leaving a mark, although no blood was drawn. Disposition listed: report taken.

    4:32 p.m., Assault with a weapon, Pastor’s Auto Care at Sunrise/Old Auburn. Two men were reportedly fighting at Pastor’s Auto Care. One of them was seen kicking the other, who was bleeding from his eye. One of the men had grabbed a pipe when police were notified. Disposition listed: assisted.

    8:26 p.m., Assault, Oakcreek Way. A man who was backing his motorcycle out of his driveway on Oakcreek Way was allegedly approached and headbutted by another man, knocking him off his motorcycle. The two men knew each other and the alleged assailant left the scene along with his pitbull, heading towards his home. Medical attention was declined and no weapons were present.     5:28 a.m., Suspicious circumstances, Wood Duck Ln. Three men in their late teens were seen “carrying rugs” on Wood Duck Lane, located on the western border of Citrus Heights. The caller did “not know where they could have gotten them from.” Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”

    4:25 p.m., Verbal disturbance, San Juan High School. A man at the high school football field was telling people to call police before he gets “crazy.” Disposition listed: advised.

    5:34 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Pebblebrook Way. A man and his family who work for Amazon Prime were accused of theft.     1:13 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, Oakcreek Way. Two men were reported going door-to-door selling beef. Their flyer didn’t have a business license number on it, leading to concern over the legality of the operation.     9:13 p.m., Vandalism, Merlindale Drive. A man was approached by three known suspects who were waiting for him at his house on Merlindale Drive, off Greenback Lane. They surrounded him while he was in his car, and one of them punched his car while wearing brass knuckles.
