Civic Minute: What’s happening at Citrus Heights City Hall?

Citrus Heights City Council members will meet Thursday evening, June 13 to approve multiple resolutions, and discuss updates on the Community HealthWorks Street Outreach program for unhoused individuals in Citrus Heights, the renewal of the Sunrise MarketPlace Property and Business Improvement District, and the upcoming Stars and Stripes celebration.

According to the agenda, the City Council plans to approve the following resolutions:

  • A resolution calling for a general municipal election and requesting the Board of Supervisors of Sacramento County to consolidate the general municipal election with the statewide general election to be held on November 5, 2024.
  • A resolution of the City Council of the City of Citrus Heights, adopting an asset naming policy for the naming of city-owned assets.
  • A resolution to approve the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Project Expenditure Plan to be funded by Senate Bill 1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
  • A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Sunrise Recreation and Park District and Orangevale Recreation and Park District for maintenance of the Arcade-Cripple Creek Trail
  • A resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc. for the 2024 Madison Avenue Retaining Wall Repairs Project
  • A Resolution approving Amendment No. 4 to the Agreement with Wells Sweeping LLC for street sweeping services.
  • A resolution to record delinquent solid waste service charges, penalties, and interest on the property tax roll.

Those wishing to make a public comment during the meeting can do so by attending the council meeting on June 13, 2024, at City Hall, or by submitting a written comment beforehand using the city’s website.
