The Sunrise MarketPlace business district will kick off its 2023 “Magical Moments” holiday event series on Dec. 1 with a laser light show and night market in the parking lot outside the Men’s Macy’s store at Sunrise Mall.
Lisa Cordell, with the Sunrise MarketPlace, said in an email that new activities at this year’s light show will include carnival games and a holiday magic show for children. She said organizers have also partnered with Kauai’s Night Market this year to bring craft vendors and food trucks.
The night market will be held from 4-8 p.m., and 45-minute laser light shows will start at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., Cordell said.
Other events planned for this year’s Magical Moments series include performances of the Nutcracker on Dec. 14 in the Macy’s court at Sunrise Mall and a Winter Wonderland Skate Party at Sunrise Rollerland.
