American Legion Veteran’s Day ceremony – Sylvan Cemetery

Sunrise Marketplace Turkey and Fixins Food Drive
The Sunrise Marketplace is holding a Thanksgiving food drive on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help collect food for families experiencing hardship and food insecurity. The food drive will take place at the Marketplace at Birdcage at 5975 Birdcage Centre Lane.

Beauty and the Beast

Give Thanks Family Fest – Sunrise Mall Farmer’s Market
The Sunrise Mall Farmer’s Market is hosting a Give Thanks Family Festival on Saturday Nov. 18. The festival will offer fall décor shopping, locally grown and handcrafted products, and free kids activities and crafts. Sacramento Rotary Club District 5180 Foundation Dinner – City Hall
The Greater Sacramento Rotary club is hosting a Foundation Dinner at the Citrus Heights Community Center on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. The dinner will include music, and featured guest speaker Larry Lunsford. Bounce Park at Sunrise Mall
Funbox is planning to set up a 25,000-square-foot inflatable bounce park in the Sunrise Mall parking lot, beginning Nov. 18 and continuing through mid-January. See story for more: Massive bounce park coming to Sunrise Mall
December preview: Kicking off December will be a laser light show and night market outside Sunrise Mall on Dec. 1, along with the city’s annual tree lighting on Dec. 6 and a Nutcracker performance at the Sunrise Mall on Dec. 14.
