Howl-o-Ween parade and festival draws crowd to Rusch Park
The annual Howl-o-Ween event put on by the Citrus Heights Community Marching Band drew attendees out to a parade on Auburn Boulevard and subsequent festival at Rusch park on Saturday. Representatives from the Residents’ Empowerment Association of Citrus Heights were among booths set up at the park.
Citrus Heights team wins state record for giant pumpkin
CBS 13 reported Thursday that Nick Kennedy and Ron Root, of Citrus Heights, broke a state record for the largest pumpkin during this year’s Half Moon Bay giant pumpkin contest. The pair grew a 2,497-pound pumpkin. (See story)
‘Clown Town’ yard display featured on GoodDay Sacramento
A Citrus Heights yard with a “Clown Town” haunted attraction was featured on GoodDay Sacramento last week, with the front yard peppered with decorated clowns, some of which move and talk. The display can be viewed at 7124 Schooner Wy. daily, until 10 p.m. (See video)
