Citrus Heights Arts will host a free music and arts festival this Saturday at the Marketplace at Birdcage shopping center, with the event set to include food trucks, live music and more.
The event, called ArtBeat, is slated for Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A prior event in July was postponed due to extreme heat.
The organization’s Facebook page says Kona Ice will be among food trucks on scene, with the first 100 guests to receive complimentary shaved ice. Leatherby’s and El Borlotes Mexican Food will also be at the event, according to announcements on social media. Musicians will include Brady Shammar and Motoshi Kosako.
The Birdcage shopping center is located across from Sunrise Mall, at 5975 Birdcage Centre Ln.
