‘The Science Wizard’ to perform free show for kids at Citrus Town Center

Sentinel staff report–
The Citrus Town Center at the corner of Greenback Lane and Sunrise Boulevard will host a free “I Spy Science Party” on Sept. 9, including balloon twisting, crafts, shaved ice and a show from The Science Wizard.

The event is slated for 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the 50-minute science show beginning at 10:10 a.m. The Science Wizard is a Sacramento-area children’s entertainer and improv comedian, who performs various science-themed shows at area parties and school assemblies.

Other activities at the event will include “Out of this World Balloon Twisting” and a “Boombastic Dance Party,” according to an Eventbrite listing. Giveaways, crafts and free Child ID Cards are also listed.

Saturday’s event is part of a series of “FUNTOPiA” events planned at the Citrus Town Center, which will include a Halloween-themed event next month, and a holiday-themed event in December. The shopping center includes Sprout’s, Marshall’s, Half Price Books, and other businesses.

Free reservations can be made online at Eventbrite.
