The Citrus Heights City Council will not meet for their regularly scheduled second council meeting in August, according to an announcement made earlier this month and also posted on the city’s website.
The council typically takes one meeting off in August or September of each year. City Manager Ash Feeney described the cancellation as a “Summer recess,” during an announcement at the end of the council’s most recent meeting on Aug. 10.
The city traditionally holds two council meetings per month, on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The council’s next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 14, 2023.
