Sentinel staff report–
The City of Citrus Heights will host the first of three neighborhood social events on Wednesday, offering free ice cream and a chance to connect with neighbors.
The first event will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on July 19 at the Greenback Greenspace, located on Greenback Lane between Parkoaks Drive and Oakside Drive. Residents are invited to “connect, learn about ways to chip-in to their community and meet local neighborhood area members,” according to the city’s website.
Upcoming events are also slated for Aug. 16 at the Sylvan Community Center and Sept. 20 at Westwood Park, both from 6:30-8 p.m.
