Rollover collision traps one inside
CBS 13 reported Wednesday that a May 17 collision involving two vehicles on the 8000 block of Copperwood Drive left one vehicle rolled onto its side, trapping a person inside. The news station said the trapped person was extricated by firefighters and then transported to a hospital with moderate injuries. (See story)

Most expensive recent local home sale: $690k
The Sacramento Bee reported Wednesday that the top recent home sale in Citrus Heights was for $690,000, a 1,678-square-foot home on the 7700 block of Uplands Way with a price-per-square-foot of $411. By comparison, The Bee reported the average home sale in the area was $453,393, with an average of $318 per square foot. (See article)

Obituary: Mary Sonia Birdwell (1930-2023)
Citrus Heights resident Mary Birdwell passed away last month at the age of 92, according to an obituary published this month in The Sacramento Bee. She is survived by her three children and three grandchildren, as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. (See full obituary)
