Easter Egg Hunts

The Kiwanis Club of Citrus Heights is hosting an annual Easter Egg Hunt at Rusch Community Park from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. on April 8. The festivities include games, vendors, music, and multiple Easter egg hunts for various age groups. For more information, visit the event page on Facebook.
Breakfast fundraiser
The Mesa Verde High School baseball program is hosting an inaugural pancake breakfast on April 22 from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Mesa Verde Performing Arts Center. The breakfast will feature raffles and Mesa Verde baseball gear for sale.

Football Camps
The Mesa Verde High School football program is hosting free football camps each Sunday in April, beginning April 2. The camps will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mesa Verde High School. Genealogical Workshop
Root Cellar, a local genealogical society, will host a workshop on Thursday, April 20, from 2-4 p.m. at the Sylvan Community Center. Anyone is welcome. Please visit the Root Cellar website for more information. The Sylvan Community Center is located at 7521 Community Drive.
Funtopia
Families can enjoy free kids activities at Citrus Town Center’s Funtopia: A Hoppin’ Good Time event. The spring event takes place Saturday, April 8, from 10-11:30 a.m. and includes face painting, balloon characters, a DJ dance party and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny. Coffee, Donuts, and a Classic Movie
Sylvan Oaks Library is hosting a classic movie event geared for adults on Friday, April 14. This month, “Out of the Past” will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the library’s community room. Theatrical performance

Celebration of Life for Steve Miller
Former councilman Steve Miller will be remembered during a celebration of life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, at the Citrus Heights Community Center. Miller passed away unexpectedly on March 25. See full obituary and event information here.
