Police said in a social media post on Thursday that two suspects were arrested after a search warrant was served at a Citrus Heights home last week.
An investigation into a Feb. 4 vehicle burglary that occurred in the area of Sunrise Boulevard and Birdcage Street led detectives from Citrus Heights Police Department’s Impact Team to the suspects’ residence, according to the release. Police found numerous items relating to ID printing, credit cards, social security cards, and electronics at the home.
Police believe there are over 70 potential victims from the operation. Fraudulent identifications and checks were also found along with printing equipment. A photograph released by police shows a Matica MC320 ID card printer that retails for over $1,500.
Fentanyl and methamphetamine were also found at the location, police said.
The two suspects, whose names were not included in the police department’s statement about the arrests, were taken into custody on multiple charges, police said.
“Please remember to keep id’s & other items of value out of your vehicles,” the police department said.
