Obituary: Miriam L. Johnsen (1937-2023)
Citrus Heights resident Miriam Johnsen passed away on Feb. 9 at the age of 85, according to an obituary published this weekend in The Sacramento Bee. Johnsen grew up in the Midwest and spent most of her life in California, where she enjoyed the warm climate and beaches.
She was known for her “stunning rose garden” and active involvement in her church, where she led Bible studies. Johnsen is survived by her two sons, a sister, and other extended family and friends. The family will hold a private burial, and those who wish to honor Miriam’s memory are asked to donate to Happy Tails in lieu of flowers. (See full obit)
