Citrus Heights police this week confirmed an armed robbery occurred at the El Pollo Loco restaurant on Greenback Lane, but few details are being released.
Lieut. Wesley Herman confirmed with The Sentinel in a phone call Wednesday that the location at 7600 Greenback Ln. was robbed but said authorities are not releasing any details pending the ongoing investigation.
The robbery occurred Monday, Jan. 30, police said.
The robbery is not related to a Wednesday police announcement of the arrest of a father and son in connection with another armed robbery that occurred at a business in the area of Greenback Lane and Dewey Drive in November, Herman said.
