Obituary: Sue Ann Walkner (1946-2022)
Sue Walkner, a lifelong Sacramento-area resident, passed away at her home in Citrus Heights on Sept. 29 after a 30-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, according to an obituary published Nov. 22 in The Sacramento Bee. She worked as an associate program analyst for the state Department of Corrections and also had a “deep love for her pets and opened her heart to many throughout her years.” Her body was laid to rest last month in Citrus Heights, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Rent prices finally falling in Citrus Heights
The Sacramento Bee reported earlier this month that rent prices have finally begun to drop in the area, including Citrus Heights. Citing data from Apartment List, The Bee said rents are down 1% in Citrus Heights, 3% in Rocklin, and 4% in Roseville, comparing October of this year with October 2021. Folsom saw a 2% increase over the same period. (See full story)

Median price per square foot drops to $312 in Citrus Heights
The Sacramento Bee reported last week that the median price per square foot for a home in Citrus Heights decreased to $312, down from $327, based on data from the week of Nov. 14. The highest square-footage prices are in Downtown and Midtown, where the median price per square foot is $432, while median prices in south Sacramento are $260. (See full story)
