More than a half-dozen Trunk or Treats and other Halloween or fall festival-themed events are planned this weekend in Citrus Heights.
Below is a roundup of seven different events at various churches and other locations in town:
Trunk or Treats:
- St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, located on Kingswood Drive in Citrus Heights, is hosting an annual trunk or treat in their parking lot on Friday, Oct. 28 from 6-8 p.m. (See link)
- Heights Church, located on Sylvan Road in Citrus Heights, is hosting a trunk or treat from 6 -7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28. (See link)
- Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, located at 5839 Dewey Drive, will host a free trunk or treat event on Oct. 30, from 4-6 p.m. (See link)
Other Events:
Pumpkin Blast. Foundation Christian Church, located on Antelope Road and Wonder Street, is hosting “Pumpkin Blast,” a free community event from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 31. The event will include carnival games, prizes, photo ops, and pumpkin pie for sale, which will benefit Citrus Heights Little League. (See link)
VDUB Invasion. is hosting a Trunk or Treat at California Burgers on Auburn Boulevard from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28. Volkswagen owners can dress up their cars for the trunk or treat. The event is open to the public, Volkswagen owner or not, and will include kid and adult costume contests, and a ‘carstume’ contest for decorated Volkswagens. (See link)
Quackenstein’s Car Wash. Quick Quack Car Wash at 7882 Lichen Drive is hosting a haunted house experience with pop-up scares and “Quackenstein’s” laboratory monsters. The price of admission is the cost of a regular car wash, or included with those who have an unlimited car was pass. The experience will be live on Oct. 28, 29 and 30 from 6:30-9 p.m. (See link)
Fallin’ into Fall. A free event with carnival games, food trucks, music, a beer garden and a “makers market” of local artisans and crafters will be held Sunday, Oct. 30, from 12-4 p.m. behind the Bath & Body Works store in the Marketplace at Birdcage shopping center. The center is located off Sunrise Boulevard at 5975 Birdcage Center Lane, across from Sunrise Mall. (See link)
