Cash reward offered to find Citrus Heights bank robbery suspect

Photos of a suspect accused of robbing a Union Bank location in Citrus Heights last month are now being circulated by a regional organization dedicated to fighting crime.

Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the suspect. The man pictured is shown wearing a dark face mask under his nose and a black hat with two words on it, including the word “Peace.”

As previously reported, police said Union Bank at 5748 Sunrise Blvd. was robbed by a suspect around 3 p.m. on Sept. 15, with the man making off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for tips that result in an arrest. The organization was founded in 1981 and seeks to connect police, media and community members in helping solve crimes.

Police have asked anyone with information to call the Citrus Heights Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-AA-CRIME.
