Sentinel staff report–
The Sept. 8 meeting of the Citrus Heights City Council has been cancelled, with the next meeting slated for Sept. 22, 2022.
City Manager Ashley Feeney said last month that the cancellation was due to the council traditionally opting to not have a meeting at the end of August. However, a decision was made to instead cancel the first meeting in September due to the date falling in the middle of the League of California Cities’ annual conference this year, which is being held Sept. 7-9 in Long Beach.
Council meetings in Citrus Heights are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, with exceptions for holidays.
