Sentinel staff report–
The City of Citrus Heights announced Tuesday that the City Hall lobby will be temporarily closed to the public, beginning Jan. 12, citing an increase in COVID-19 cases in Sacramento County.
In a post on its website, the city said all municipal services are still available, and staff can be reached by phone or email Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The main number for City Hall is (916) 725-2448.
An anticipated reopening date of City Hall was not stated, but the city described the closure as temporary. City Council meetings are also now closed to the public, but accessible by live-stream and Zoom.
