Free flu shots offered at Community Center
The Sacramento County Department of Public Health will be offering free seasonal flu shots at the Citrus Heights Community Center on Wednesday. Shots will be administered on a walk-up basis, to anyone over six months of age. The free clinic will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (See more)

Obituary: James Eugene Bohrer (1939-2021)
Citrus Heights resident James Bohrer passed away on Aug. 29 at the age of 82, according to an obituary published in The Sacramento Bee last week. He was a US Navy veteran, and later earned an MBA from Webster University. He is described as an entrepreneur with a passion for teaching. He is survived by his five children and other relatives. County redistricting
A public redistricting workshop for the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors will be held on Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Elk Grove City Hall chambers and also via Zoom. An intro to redistricting will be presented, along with public comment and mapping tools. (See more information)
