The San Juan High School Alumni Association is planning an All Class Picnic for Saturday, Oct. 2, at Rusch Park.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m., according to an event flier. Activities include live performances and DJ music, snacks, beverages, and vintage cars. The Citrus Heights Historical Society will be giving free tours of the Rusch Home.
San Juan High School alum Linda Fischer told The Sentinel she will be hosting a class of ’66 booth and will also be promoting a shoe closet to benefit kids at Mariposa Avenue Elementary School. The program provides shoes for underprivileged children at the school.
“[S]o many of us SJHS grads attended there in our younger years, and so many of the kids are under served and desperately need shoes and socks,” Fischer said.
