Several events are taking place at Sunrise Mall this weekend, after months of reduced activity as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to weekly farmer’s market held each weekend, two additional events are planned for Labor Day Weekend.
The Sacra Locos Car Club is scheduled to host a car show in the Sunrise Mall parking lot from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, featuring Aztec dancers and music by The Soulistics, according to promotional flyers released by the club. Prizes will be awarded for first place bragging rights, and a street hop contest. There is a $35 vehicle entry fee.
During the same time, and continuing into Sunday afternoon, a Bridal Expo is also scheduled to bring exhibitors to the mall.
The expo is typically an event for wedding industry professionals such as photographers, DJ’s, musicians, florists, and other vendors to showcase their services. Admission is free, and the event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
