Sentinel staff report–
The Citrus Heights City Council will not meet for their regularly scheduled second council meeting in August, according to an announcement made earlier this month and also posted on the city’s website.
The city’s mayor, Steve Miller, said during a council meeting held earlier this month that the upcoming council meeting on Aug. 26 would be cancelled due to “lack of business.” The council typically takes one meeting off in the third quarter of each year, including one last September.
The council traditionally holds two regularly scheduled meetings per month, on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The council’s next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 9, 2021.
