Kids, brides-to-be, job-seekers, and car enthusiasts may be interested in several events coming up in the Sunrise MarketPlace, beginning next month.
According to an email sent out last week from the Sunrise MarketPlace business improvement district, events will include a car show on Sept. 4, along with a bridal expo that same weekend. Later in the month, a “Kidtopia” event will take place in the Citrus Town Center, followed by a job fair on Oct. 5th.
Car show: On Saturday, Sept. 4,, the Sacra Locos Car Club will meet at the Sunrise Farmers Market outside Sunrise Mall, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees will enjoy Aztec dancers, farmers market vendors, and live music, according to an event promotional flier.
Bridal Expo: Come find everything you need for your wedding day at the Bridal Expo, in the Sunrise Mall. From Sept. 4, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sept. 5, 12-6 p.m., residents are invited to partake in live music and food tasting while watching live demonstrations of bridal hair and makeup. Those attending must wear a mask indoors, unless a vaccine card is shown. (See more)
Kidtopia: Citrus Town Center, located 7925 Greenback Ln, is hosting the 2nd Kidtopia Event. Kids have the opportunity to come see Miss Marvel and Captain USA dressed as a favorite superhero. A live DJ, free craft tables, and more are available on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (See more)
Job Fair: The Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce is hosting a job fair at the Sunrise Mall on Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. According to the Chamber’s website, the cost is $50 for employers to register and present a job.
