The City of Citrus Heights will be hosting a free vaccine clinic on Saturday in cooperation with Sutter Health.
An announcement from the city said the clinic will be held June 26 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Citrus Heights Community Center. Registrations are accepted, but not required, according to the announcement. The event is scheduled to end at 1 p.m.
Healthcare workers will be administering the Pfizer vaccine during the clinic, the announcement said.
Vice Mayor Porsche Middleton said in a Facebook post Tuesday that the first 100 people to get the shot will receive a pair of tickets to a Sacramento Republic FC game, thanks to a donation from the soccer team.
The Community Center is located at 6300 Fountain Square Drive. More information is available on the city’s website.
