Obituary: Jennie Ellen Azbill (1930-2021)
Jennie Azbill, a longtime resident of Fair Oaks and later Citrus Heights, passed away on April 30. Azbill and her husband Jim moved to Fair Oaks in 1957, before moving to Orangevale to raise cattle, according to an obituary published in The Sacramento Bee last week. She later worked as an elementary school cook for the San Juan Unified School District for 22 years and spent her final years in a senior living park in Citrus Heights. She is survived by two children. A service and reception will be held at 10 a.m. on May 21 at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park. (See full obituary)
