The Citrus Heights Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at a night club on Auburn Boulevard early Saturday morning, which resulted in four people being struck by gun fire.
In a news release Saturday morning, police said 911 calls were made around 1:25 a.m. regarding a shooting at Rocky’s 7440 Club at 7440 Auburn Boulevard. Residents in the area also reported hearing at least six gunshots fired in rapid succession.

Responding officers found “several fights going on in the parking lot and surrounding area,” and after gaining control of the situation police determined four people had been shot, all of whom are expected to survive. A portion of Auburn Boulevard was shut down after the incident, but has since reopened.
As of 9:30 a.m. Saturday, police said detectives are still on scene investigating the shooting. No further information has been released, but police said “the possibility of gang involvement is being investigated as a motive.”
