Restaurants, bookstores, beauty supply shops, and retailers in Citrus Heights are hiring, despite many businesses suffering negative impacts during the coronavirus pandemic.
Below is a selection of some of the jobs available:
Barnes & Noble: The national book retailer’s Citrus Heights store is looking for a part-time staff member who will engage customers in products, restock items, and assist in various areas of the store. Applicants must have strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and availability that aligns with store needs. Located at 2885 Birdcage Lane. (See Application)
Half-Price Books: Located at 7975 Greenback Ln., the bookstore is looking for a full-time sales associate who can share knowledge on books and movies, operate a cash register, stock shelves, and buy used books from the public. (See Application)
Famous Footwear: Located in Sunrise Mall, the footwear store is looking for a part-time sales associate who can help customers find shoes, meet sales goals, and create a friendly shopping experience. (See Application)
Smart & Final: The grocery store at Madison/Sunrise is looking for a part-time associate who will be able to receive inventory, operate the cash register, and other management-assigned tasks. Applicants must be able to lift or carry up to 25 pounds, read and write in English, and effectively present information to customers and other employees. (See Application)
Old Navy: The clothing retailer, located 5985 Birdcage Center Lane, is searching for a part-time brand associate. The job requires applicants to handle customer transactions, support the sales floor and fitting rooms, and lift up to 30 pounds. Hours are flexible. (See Application)
7-Eleven: Located at 6701 Auburn Blvd., the convenience store is looking for a sales associate who can greet and help customers, maintain a clean environment, operate the register, and more. There is also additional training to become a certified sales associate. (See Application)
Sally Beauty: A sales associate is wanted for the beauty store, who will be able to recommend products, complete transactions, arrange merchandising, and more. Applicants are required to be able to lift at least 25 pounds, and may be exposed to fumes or odors. If you are passionate about beauty, this may be the job for you. (See Application)
Sephora: Located in the JCPenny store inside Sunrise Mall, the store is looking for a part-time beauty advisor who can demonstrate beauty techniques, actively approach clients, and help build a fun shopping experience. (See Application)
Dollar Tree: The store on Lichen Drive is looking for a sales associate who can assist in merchandising the store, maintain quality customer service, and handle sales transactions. Applicants must have strong communication skills, a basic understanding of math, and integrity. Located 7859 Lichen Drive. (See Application)
Other locations with “now hiring” signs in Citrus Heights include Dutch Bros Coffee in the Raley’s shopping center and the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant at Sylvan Corners.
