Driver arrested after rollover collision on Sunrise Blvd

Citrus Heights police officers arrested a 22-year-old male for felony DUI at the scene of a rollover collision at Sunrise Boulevard and Larwin Drive Saturday night.

Citrus Heights Police Lt. Michael Wells told The Sentinel officers arrived on the scene on Dec. 12 at approximately 9 p.m. and found a Toyota Rav 4 on its roof. Officers found another vehicle, a Toyota 4-runner was also involved.

Police said there were three occupants in the Rav 4, a male, a female, and a small child. No injuries were reported to the occupants of the Rav 4, and Wells said all three individuals were out of the vehicle by the time police arrived.

The occupants of the Toyota 4-runner, a female and a small child, were transported to UC Davis Medical Center. The female had moderate injuries, and the child had minor injuries, according to police.

Wells said the driver was booked in the Sacramento County Main Jail.
