Sentinel staff report–
The Citrus Heights City Council will not meet for their regularly scheduled second council meeting in September, according to an announcement posted on the city’s website.
The city’s mayor, Jeff Slowey, said during the Sept. 10 council meeting that the upcoming Sept. 24 meeting would be cancelled due to there being no agenda items to discuss. He also noted the council typically takes one meeting off each summer, but had not done so this year.
The council traditionally holds two regularly scheduled meetings per month, on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The council’s next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 8, 2020.
