Sentinel staff report–
From guns to groceries, Citrus Heights residents can still buy many items at dozens of businesses deemed essential amid COVID-19 stay-at-home orders.

In an effort to support local businesses, the City of Citrus Heights this week published a list of essential businesses that remain open in the city, including direct links to order from more than 50 local restaurants.

As of Friday, the city’s list also included 15 non-food service businesses that remain open. Many businesses that remain open do not appear on the list, including Just Send It postal service, Citrus Heights Mower, and Sacramento Black Rifle, and many others.

Businesses seeking to add their names to the city’s list are asked to email hreid@citrusheights.net.
