[RE: Draft plan to make Old Auburn Road a ‘complete street’ nearing completion; March 8th] I live in the neighborhood and love the change to single turn lanes each way at the intersection of Old Auburn and Fair Oaks Boulevard. All the added safety steps are working nicely.
I and my family travel these roads daily going to a daycare center and Woodside K-8, just down the street from the intersection that was changed. The changes are a plus for those of us who live in the neighborhood.
We also use the bike path that starts at Garry Oak. This bike path is widely used by pedestrians and bikes!
We look forward to the new improvements that are planned. Thank you City Council!
