Sentinel staff report–
Organizers of a popular all-you-can-eat fundraiser in Citrus Heights said Tuesday that the event has been rescheduled for July, following a flurry of local event cancellations due to coronavirus mitigation efforts.
Taste of Citrus Heights was originally scheduled for April 24 at the Citrus Heights Community Center, but will now take place on July 17, according to Darla Buechner, president of the GFWC Citrus Heights Women’s Club, which is hosting the event.
Tickets previously purchased will be honored at the event’s new date, Buechner said in an email to The Sentinel.
More than two dozen eateries and breweries had been confirmed for the April event, including Dos Coyotes Border Cafe, Crepes & Burgers, Beer Dogs, Beach Hut Deli, and Texas Roadhouse, among others.
Tickets for Taste of Citrus Heights run $40 per person and can be purchased on the Citrus Heights Women’s Club website.
