City Hall in Citrus Heights opened Saturday as an official vote center for those seeking to vote in person for the 2020 primary election.
City Hall is one of several dozen “11 Day Vote Centers” in Sacramento County, where citizens can vote in person up to 10 days before the March 3 election.
Citrus Heights City Hall is located at 6360 Fountain Square Drive. Doors are open to voters 7-days-a-week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., through March 2. On March 3, doors will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Two other vote centers will open in Citrus Heights on Feb. 29 as four-day vote centers:
- Citrus Heights Fellowship, 7405 Mariposa Ave. Hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Feb. 29-March 2, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
- Sylvan Oaks Library, 6700 Auburn Blvd. A four-day vote center will be open at the library on Feb. 29 and March 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours on March 2 will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Election Day hours will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters can also mail their vote-by-mail ballots, and a stamp is no longer needed for mailing ballots. There’s also a new secure ballot drop box outside City Hall that can be utilized 24 hours a day from now through Election Day.
