The San Juan Unified School District is inviting community to review and provide input on a variety of proposed instructional materials that are being considered for adoption in courses in the district.
Courses include European history, microeconomics, Spanish literature and culture, geography, intensive reading intervention for grades 4-8, and science for grades K-5, according to a posting on the District’s website.
Materials will be available for review through Feb. 7. The district says, “we invite and encourage our community to view the materials and provide feedback,” as part of the instructional material adoption process.
The materials will be on display from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Choices Charter School, Room 18, located at 4425 Laurelwood Wy., in Sacramento.
San Juan’s curriculum department will also host an evening community showcase at Choices Charter School in Room 15, from 4-6:30 p.m. on Jan. 29. Visitors will be able to view the materials and provide feedback.
