The Citrus Heights Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) will host its 4th Annual Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser on Nov. 8 at the Citrus Heights Community Center, in an effort to help fund the nonprofit’s various local programs and rotating winter shelter.
The fundraiser will include a raffle, silent auction, dessert auction, and a live band. The dinner will be catered by Strings this year, as well as a full drink and soda bar, and gift baskets to win at the auction.
In its earlier years, the group held its spaghetti feeds at Holy Family Church, before moving to the Citrus Heights Community Center to accommodate more attendees. Irene Hronicek, who is a part of the local HART board, said past fundraisers have sold out over 400 seats, and they are expected to sell out more this year.

“The spaghetti dinner is our single fundraiser for all of our activities throughout the year,” Hronicek said.
Tickets can be purchased for $20, or a table of eight for $160. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Additional information is available at www.citrusheightshart.org.
HART is a local nonprofit that was formed in 2015, with a mission to implement long-term solutions to end homelessness in Citrus Heights. The group is credited with helping bring a homeless navigator to the city to help connect homeless with resources and assistance, as well as hosting a first-ever winter shelter program in Citrus Heights in 2016.
HART’s upcoming shelter is scheduled to begin in December and continue through February 2020. The group is currently seeking volunteers to help with the rotating shelter program, which is offered at local churches where homeless individuals are offered a warm meal and help with access to services and long-term housing solutions.
