More ground spraying of mosquitoes continues
The Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District is continuing ground spraying of mosquitoes in the northern portion of Citrus Heights, following the discovery of an invasive species of mosquitoes last month. Spraying is scheduled between 2-6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16. (See spray map)

Citrus Heights truck driver killed in collision
A 21-year-old Citrus Heights man was killed Thursday after Oregon State Police said his truck hit a guard rail and careened off a bridge, according to KDRV-Medford. (See story)

Citrus Heights artist releases new music video
Shane Anderson, a Citrus Heights R&B artist, premiered his latest music video, “Summer,” on Youtube on Sept. 13. The four-minute video can be viewed online here.

Supervisor Frost to host community meeting on Monday at City Hall
Sue Frost, who represents Citrus Heights and surrounding areas on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, will host a community meeting at Citrus Heights City Hall on Monday, Sept. 16. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. and will offer an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and hear an update on county news. (See event page)
