City seeks input on how to make Citrus Heights better

Thomas J. Sullivan–
The City of Citrus Heights has launched a new online survey and will host a free workshop next week at the Sayonara Center to seek public input on “what would make your community better?”

The two-hour meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 7836 Sayonara Drive.

According to an event flier, key topics to be discussed will include housing, community and economic development, jobs, public infrastructure and public services. The workshop will also include food and activities for children.

The city says input from the workshop will help inform how federal and state community development grant funds are allocated in Citrus Heights

Those interested in attending are asked to register online at citrusheightsplan.eventbrite.com, although doing so is not required.

Those unable to attend the workshop are invited to take a short online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/CitrusHeightsConPlan by August 30.
