Obituary: Jerry Wayne Mayhew (1941-2019)
Citrus Heights resident Jerry W. Mayhew passed away peacefully at age 78 in his home on July 21, following a long battle with Parkinson’s and heart disease, according to an obituary published in the Sacramento Bee on Friday. Mayhew grew up in Welch, West Virginia, and was the youngest of 13 children. Services with full military honors will be held on Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
