A map posted on the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District’s website shows the area around Rusch Park and Lauppe Lane are slated for ground spraying on Aug. 12. The spraying has been scheduled due to West Nile virus activity. (See website)
Former Kingswood Elementary principal now serving as principal in Cameron Park
Vera Morris, who formerly served as principal of Kingswood Elementary in Citrus Heights, is now serving in the same position at Pleasant Grove Middle School in Cameron Park, according to an Aug. 6 story published in the Village Life newspaper. Police: 80-year-old missing Citrus Heights woman found in San Joaquin County
Just two hours after issuing a missing person alert for an 80-year-old Citrus Heights resident on Friday night, police said the woman had been safely located in San Joaquin County. The woman was described as a “critical missing adult” who may have been suffering from memory loss.
Citrus Heights police release video highlights from National Night Out
