Free exhibits, workshops and other activities are on the agenda for the annual Senior Health Fair at the Citrus Heights Community Center on Thursday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to noon.
According to a news release from the City of Citrus Heights, the day’s activities will begin with a pre-event “kick-off walk” at 8 a.m. led by the Sunrise Recreation and Park District, followed by seven workshops on various topics throughout the morning.
Topics include fall prevention and balance, chair yoga, “living with low vision,” elder fraud and scams, and “money smart.” Other workshops will also be hosted by Dignity Health and the Alzheimer’s Association.
