Taste of Citrus Heights 2019 to feature over two dozen local eateries, wineries

Looking for all-you-can-eat sampling of local food and beverages? You’ll likely find what you’re looking for at the Citrus Heights Community Center on April 26.

Taste of Citrus Heights 2019, hosted by the GFWC Citrus Heights Women’s Club, is slated to feature local eateries including Antojitos Locos, Elephant Bar, Texas Roadhouse, Dos Coyotes, Yalla Yalla Bakery, Garcia’s Mexican, Sammy’s Restaurant, Chando’s Tacos, Java Cherry, and other vendors.

The event will be held at the community center from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, April 26. Tickets can be purchased in advance online for $40 and will also be sold at the door, if tickets remain.

Taste of Citrus Heights is now in its third year, annually supporting wellness training for police officers from event proceeds. Organizer Darla Buechner said her women’s club is hoping to sell 400 tickets this year, up from about 300 in prior years.
