Stabbing suspects, dark SUV sought by Citrus Heights police

Citrus Heights police released an image of a dark-colored Jeep on Wednesday, asking for the public’s help in finding three suspects associated with the vehicle and a March 13, 2019 stabbing incident.

The Citrus Heights Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify suspects in a stabbing that occurred after midnight on March 13 near Rocky’s 7440 Club on Auburn Boulevard.

The department on Wednesday posted a stock photo of a dark-colored Jeep on social media and said three suspects had been seen “leaving the crime scene in a dark colored SUV resembling this one.”

Police described the incident as an “isolated stabbing” that occurred during an altercation in the parking lot of Sam’s Classic Burgers, located across the street from Rocky’s. The person stabbed was hospitalized with serious injuries, but is recovering, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the police department’s Crime Tip Line at (916) 727-5524 and reference case #19-1895.
