Sunrise Mall hosting book sale fundraiser for animal shelter this weekend

Sentinel staff report–
Beginning Nov. 8 and continuing through Sunday, Sunrise Mall will host the Sacramento SPCA’s annual Fall Book Sale fundraiser.

Those interested in perusing through books and supporting the animal shelter’s efforts are invited to drop by the Mall from Nov. 8-11, where nearly new and “gently used” books in a variety of categories will be for sale, including adventure, biographies, children’s, cookbooks, fiction, history, mystery, romance, and science fiction.

According to Sunrise Mall Marketing Manager Susie Rodgers, the books sale will be located at the north end of the Mall in front of Macy’s Men’s Store. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Anyone wishing to donate books can do so Wednesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the SPCA’s Adoptions Building located at 6201 Florin-Perkins Rd.

The Sacramento SPCA says all proceeds from the sale will directly benefit animals under the organization’s care. For more information visit www.sspca.org.
