Sentinel staff report–
The 10th annual Spooktacular festivities will take place on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Raley’s shopping plaza at Antelope Road and Interstate 80.
Activities are scheduled to include carnival games, a craft and vendor fair, prizes, face painting and live entertainment, according to the Antelope Crossing Business Association, which co-sponsors the annual event with the City of Citrus Heights. Other attractions will include free raffle tickets and prizes, and a popular kids costume contest for kids age 12 and under that will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Spooktacular activities and vendor booths are typically located on both sides of Antelope Road near Interstate 80, including in the Raley’s parking lot and across the street outside Stones Casino, extending over to Carl’s Jr. at the corner of Antelope Road and Zenith Drive.
2018 will mark a decade that the Antelope Crossing Business Association has helped host Spooktacular. The Association was formed in 2009 to help support and promote the two commercial and retail shopping centers located off Antelope Road at Interstate 80.
