Citrus Heights Police Logs: casino fight, tooth fillings, burglary

Latest police logs include a large fight outside Stones Casino, burglary at a paint shop on Greenback Lane, and a man reporting to police that his tooth fillings were speaking to him.

The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for July 27th, 2018. Additional bulletins for July 25-26 are linked below.

Incident report categories of note: 20 calls regarding suspicious activities, 19 disturbance-related, 5 homeless/transient-related, 7 petty thefts, no grand thefts, 4 burglaries, 3 assaults, and 1 report of domestic violence

1:11 a.m., Assault, Stones Casino on Antelope Rd. Police received a report regarding a group of 10 individuals in physical fights outside in the front parking lot. No further details were given. No disposition listed.

2:01 a.m., Petty Theft, Autumn Ridge Apartments on Shadow Ln. A woman in her 20s was reportedly seen stealing a tire from a vehicle parked at an apartment complex. No disposition listed.

2:24 a.m., Suspicious Vehicle, Birchglade/Sloop. A red Audi with an unknown plate number was reportedly parked on a residential street corner with two people sleeping inside. The vehicle had been tagged three times before, but the occupants just kept pushing the vehicle up the street each time. No disposition listed.

6:47 a.m., Burglary, Sherwin Williams on Greenback Ln. Police were informed of a burglary which occurred overnight. The suspect(s) reportedly broke a window to gain entrance and then stole a paint sprayer and money, valued around $400. The caller decided to wait until police arrived to clear the building before going inside to inspect further. No disposition listed.

9:08 a.m., Disturbance Loitering, Old Auburn Rd. A transient was reported to be sleeping in front of a school classroom. The caller said the issue was ongoing and was concerned due to school beginning in a week. No disposition listed.

10:11 a.m., Illegal Dumping, Lichen/Whyte. Six tires and rims were reportedly dumped in the middle of the roadway and were creating a hazard for drivers. No information regarding the suspect was given. No disposition listed.

10:17 a.m., Collision Non Injury, Bubba’s Car Wash on Greenback Ln. A vehicle reportedly drove into the side of the car wash building while driving in reverse, making it halfway through a window of the building before coming to a stop. The driver claimed to be fine, but said she “wants to take more of her medications.” No disposition listed.

12:05 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Fountain Square Dr. A man came to the police station to reported that he was being “harassed by the voices that are coming from the fillings in his teeth.” No disposition listed.

1:24 p.m., Burglary on Birchglade Wy. A neighbor reported that an unknown man had just pulled up to a residence and used a screw gun to remove the door handle off a nearby house, and then went inside. He was described to be driving a small blue Hyundai with a female passenger still in the vehicle. No disposition listed.

10:05 p.m., Vehicle Burglary, Red Robin on Greenback Ln. A caller informed police that their vehicle had been broken into within the last hour. The passenger window was smashed, and $700 in makeup and $100 in “coin” were reported to be stolen. No disposition listed.
