Citrus Heights Police Logs: fireworks, urine, loud music

Latest police logs include a resident being hit in the face after complaining about loud music, large fireworks being thrown out of a vehicle, and a man reportedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house and “urinating all over her bed.”

The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Additional bulletins for June 27 – July 2 are also linked below.

Tuesday July 3, 2018: Total of 85 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 26 calls regarding suspicious activities, 18 disturbance-related, 8 homeless/transient-related, 5 petty theft, no grand thefts, 4 burglaries, 5 assault reports, and 3 domestic violence reports.

3:36 a.m., Burglary, Soquel Way. A caller told police there was a man inside of a house under construction “ripping things out of walls” and that pipes were being torn out. Another man was also reportedly waiting outside in a green Honda Civic. Disposition listed: advised.

10:16 a.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Rollingwood Blvd. A woman reported to police that she believed her ex-boyfriend broke into her house last night and “urinated all over her bed.” Disposition listed: gone on arrival.

10:55 a.m., Burglary, 24 Hour Fitness on Auburn Blvd. A woman reported her iPhone had been stolen from a locker at the fitness club and that she was currently tracking it to a nearby address. Disposition listed: unable to locate.

12:41 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Safe Credit Union on Sunrise Blvd. Police responded to a report of a man walking around the bank and standing behind the bushes at the drive-thru ATM. He appeared to be watching the ATM and parking lot. Disposition listed: unable to locate.

1:59 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, AM/PM on Greenback Ln. A person getting gas reportedly “drove off with pump and hose” and was headed eastbound on Auburn Boulevard. Disposition listed: advised.

3:27 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Montage Apartments on Fair Oaks Blvd. A man told police that his girlfriend had just called him and said two men had come to her apartment door, looked in the window, then knocked. When she didn’t answer, they turned the doorknob but it was locked. Disposition listed: assisted.

3:45 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Saybrook Drive., An unknown homeless person entered the callers garage and reportedly slept inside for four hours. Disposition listed: assisted.

4:29 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Eye Center Optometric on Greenback Ln. A man wearing a plaid shirt with a neon green undershirt, leopard leggings and brown boots was reportedly laying on the grass in front of the location grabbing his genitals and “inappropriately touching himself.” Disposition listed: advised.

6:42 p.m., Assault, Yeoman Way. Police were contacted after a vehicle playing loud music pulled up in front of a residence on Yeoman Way, near the MarketPlace at Birdcage. When asked to turn down the music, the vehicle occupants reportedly approached the caller and punched them in the face. The victim received a black eye but declined medical attention. Disposition listed: advised.

9:31 p.m., Reckless Driving, Edgewater Apartments on Sunrise Vista Drive. Large fireworks were reportedly being thrown out of a white sedan with unknown plates. Disposition listed: advised.
